You do realize there is a reason for that right? What to do in that situation ?.I have tried every settings on my Xbox without any result.When I put settings on output sound in Xbox everything I played is all in Atmos.Well usb headsets ate supported and bluetooth headsets too as long as it conforms to gaming standards I installed the Netflix app on my Xbox One X and now all the movies I see have sound in Dolby Atmos, even if in the name of the movie on Netflix it is said the sound is recorded only in Dolby Digital The same problem I have with all the movies from Netflix. I have supposed that when I buy a game with sound in Dolby Digital 5.1 to have Dolby Digital 5.1 and when I buy games in Dolby Atmos to get Dolby Atmos in my amplituner Onkyo. I have installed Dolby app on my Xbox to get Dolby atmos sound and the result was that I have on all the games no matter if these are with sound in Dolby Atmos or not only in Dolby Atmos. I have an Xbox One X connected through HDMI cable to an Onkyo amplituner 7.1 which is capable to decode Dolby Atmos & DTS X. What am I missing? Has anybody else had this issue, and if so, how did you solve it? How in the world can a headset that was ADVERTISED with Dolby Atmos in mind and came with a 6 month trial of it not have a way of setting up in the app? Then I do that and it says it needs to plug into controller. I went into the app (as changing to Dolby Atmos in the System's settings wasn't working) and the only option I can potentially do for setup is via USB/wireless. What strikes me as odd is when I first got the headset it worked fine, but I hadn't used it for months and pulled it out yesterday to use it again and the interface must have changed with the Dolby App with an update. The only headset I have is official Xbox Wireless Headset that launched with the console, and I don't see anywhere to plug a 3.5mm into the headset, only USB-C. I paid the license fee, it shows I have access via the app, but it says I have to plug my headset into the controller to set up.
I may just be missing something obvious, but I can't figure out for the life of me how to set up my Dolby Atmos on my Series X.
